After decades in sales representing high-end luxury buyers such as Burberry and Hugo Boss, Chris Knott founded Peter Millar in 2001 as an accessible luxury clothing company accentuated by saturated colors and attention to detail. Mike Bowers, former buyer for the golf apparel industry, joined the team in 2007 and later took the role of VP of design and merchandising.
